Permanent Labyrinths
|
| |
A labyrinth is an ancient tool for meditation, peace and prayer. It is a place of possibility. In our busy lives we seldom take the time to stop and reflect. Walking the labyrinth helps to clear the mind and gives insight into our life's journey. The journey is different for everyone, for we each bring our uniqueness to the labyrinth. There is no 'right way' to walk a labyrinth. You only have to enter and put one foot in front of the other to follow the path.
Above is a winter time photo of my outdoor labyrinth for world peace at Avoca House B&B, Castle Hill Village, NZ. There are times when wallking it is a memory test as we sometimes get 2 feet of snow!

"In a world that is degrading in its moral standards, decency, and in the treatment of others, we seek to discover a new dignity, not a pomposity, or a grand, vain glorious stance, but a silent composure that speaks of one that is well-versed in his or her understanding of the eternal Tao and the way energy ebbs and flows; a person who's life is drawn in the parameters of an unspoken elegance of being."
