One hour from Christchurch Airport, on the Arthur's Pass Great Alpine Highway, we are halfway between Christchurch and Greymouth & Hokitika on the West Coast. Relax in comfortable surroundings while we fix you a beautiful home cooked dinner. Settle down with a book from eclectic selection the bookcase in your room or in the lounge. Our Bedrooms Our B&B accommodation has both double and twin rooms available. Our comfortable beds have cotton douvets in the summer and goose-down douvets in the winter. (Hypoallergenic douvets are available on request.) Beds have electric blankets and spare blankets or douvets are stored in the wardrobes. Guests Bathroom Our downstairs bathroom is shared by our guests. There is a separate toilet and another toilet and family share bathroom upstairs. Heating All the rooms have their own heaters, electric blankets and down douvets. Our new wood burner in the lounge area heats upstairs and down. Communications We have phone & limited internet facilities. ***Remember cellular phones do not work in this area. We suggest you buy "Kia Ora" phone cards as they give the best all round rates for calling within New Zealand and overseas. Drying facilities With a new log burner we now have a great drying area.
